The Sun-sky radiometre Observation NETwork (SONET), leaded by Chinese Academy of Sciences and collaborated with Universities and Institutes, stes up observation sites in typical aera of China. SONET obtains the aerosol optical - physical - chemical composition parameters in the whole atmosphere, which can serve the aerosol modeling, verification of satellite remote sensing product, improvment of aerosol environmental impact and climate effects assessment and other research needs.
